Numerical Linear Algebra is the study of linear algebra applied with computers. Recently, I’ve been reviewing it.

I’m surprised that I keep coming back to a book from 1997,

Numerical Linear Algebra

by Lloyd N. Trefethen and David Bau. It’s quite clearly explained.. and that’s saying something given how delicately detailed the topic can be.

And like most great books on applied math, it’s available for free.
