There are only two approaches that really make sense for me:
- All drugs are legalized
- Drugs are not legalized, but comsumption and carry are also prohibited
The second one might seem extremist on a first look, but if you stop to think economically, it makes a lot sense. What promotes drug production is the drug demand (economy for dummies lol). If that’s true (and we know that it is), you will never be able to drop demand significantly to the point where the production and distribution do not worth the risk.
Conclusively, the only option to drop demand is throught fear propagation between the demanders itself
